We met Winston when he was a puppy. He is 2 1/2 yrs.
We went to pick up another puppy , and went home with her and Winston.
Winston is a loving dog , and crate trained , does well in the house. Has been trained with electric fence and on leash.
Goes to groomer ,vet , loves house sitter.
Love’s car rides!
Has been around men and women but seems uncomfortable around children.
No kitties , he catches mice
Gets along , or no interest in other dogs.
Does like he’s home dogs.
Problem is, he has become dominant to them ,to our elderly mother, and grandchildren.
He had basic command training as a puppy.
I am working with a trainer now to see exactly what we can do for this dominant behavior .
We have come to the conclusion he needs consistency and more one on one owner.
He cares for us but also enjoys being with other adults.
Winston will not be going to any shelter , so that is not his future.
Good dog!
We believe he would be better suited with someone without children.
