My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh hello, I'm Kirby! This sweet little gal has been a bit down on her luck recently! I was roaming in a neighborhood not too far from the interstate hoping to find some food and maybe some shelter from the heat or the pouring rain! Well instead I found a kind person who put me in his car and brought me to the shelter. He didn't have any pets, but he was willing to help me get to safety! Thank you kind homeowner for helping me! Well I was never claimed by my owners and now I am up for adoption. I am a young terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. Hopefully you can make an appointment to meet me. I know you won't regret it!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
