Meet Riley Fern!
A spirited Lab x Hound mix whose journey began at a local gas station. Since being taken in by her foster family in August 2023, this tan bundle of joy has woven her way into the fabric of their daily life. Nearly a year old, Riley stands as a 45-pound embodiment of love and boundless energy, teetering on the edge of becoming the perfect family dog with just a tad more guidance and training.
Her heart is vast, embracing people and pets with open paws, and she's prepped for any adventure with her spaying, microchipping, and up-to-date medical care. Riley's enthusiasm for life is palpable, whether engaging with her collection of soft, squeaky toys, gnawing on sturdy bones, or frolicking with sticks on her walks. Yet, her penchant for cuddling truly endears her to anyone lucky enough to share a quiet moment with her!
Riley has a good grasp of basic commands like sit, down, wait, go, and come, showcasing her readiness for formal training to refine her exuberant playfulness into gentler interactions. She's a model of adaptability, thriving on a routine that mixes walks, meals, and ample affection, but she's just as willing to blend into the new rhythms of a forever home.
