My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Remy – he is a tiny 4lb 3-month-old chihuahua mix. Remy and his siblings were living in a very bad place and were surrendered to rescue by the owner. This unique little guy is always happy, playful and runs on a medium to medium-high energy level. He loves to be in your arms or lap, often his little tail wags in circles when he gets attention. Remy would make a great addition to any family.
Remy is located in South Texas. Transport is available Out of State.
All adoption fees include a current negative hw test if old enough, current age-appropriate vaccines including rabies, parvo/distemper, lepto, bordetella, current heartworm, and flea/tick preventions, and dewormers.
Also included is a Health Certificate and transport costs from Texas.
Please be advised that applications are reviewed in the order that they are received. The first step is to fill out an adoption application.

More about this rescue

A Dogs Way Home was formed in 2018 when we became aware of the extent of the incredible abuse and neglect of animals in South Texas. 2 gorgeous black dogs from the Mathis Texas Shelter started our journey from fostering to transport to rescue.
Our mission, with the help of our rescue partners, is to save as many as we can. Compassion, honesty, and integrity are the foundation of our efforts.
Please help us save dogs by supporting ADWH though adoption, fostering, or donations.
