My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am an affectionate lady who is equally independent. I would do best in a multi-cat household. I will give you cuddles but also am content to watch birds or take a sun nap. I had a rough start but am happy now.

I came in with my litter of kittens when I was a whole 8 months old. Unfortunately, all of my babies passed. I stopped eating & was teeny tiny. 9 Lives took me in & put some weight on me. Now, I prefer to keep the other cats on the straight & narrow & love on my foster parents. Apply today to foster to adopt me to make sure I'm the perfect fit for your home!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our 9LCR cats are not routinely tested for FIV and FeLV for various reasons, one being to keep the costs and hence the adoption fee affordable. This decision is based on studies that have found that only about 4% of cats are actually infected. The funds for testing are better utilized for our spay and neuter efforts of owned and community cats in order to save the most cats. However, testing can be performed upon request and need to be covered by the person interested in adopting.
9 Lives Cats have been spayed or neutered and have updated vaccinations. 9 Lives is run entirely on volunteers. Please give us 2-7 days to process your application. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us! Please fill out our application form found here: t.ly/38VV
Adoption fee is $70.00.

More about this rescue

We started 9 Lives Cat Rescue to find homes for cats that are homeless or need to be relocated.
We are a no-kill, non-profit group. Our cats live in foster homes until they are adopted. We spay & neuter every cat before they are adopted.
We fully support our local no-kill feral cat group who practices TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return).
