ADOPT DAKOTA!
Do you remember Dakota? After weeks of trying to get him safe, we finally took him in last month. He spent most of his time tangled up, tied up and his owners ignoring him not even bothering to feed him. Worst yet, he was turned loose, and neighbors were threatening to shoot him!
We got him safe, and he has been at our vet undergoing heartworm treatment and is ready for a loving home now!! Dakota is 1-2 years old and approximately 60 lbs. He is a gorgeous male Shepherd. We are still learning about him, and he is still learning to trust us but is opening up more every day. He is smart, gaining confidence and learning to accept love. He is great with all dogs and submissive. He is finally getting to run and wrestle and just enjoy being a dog!
Adoption fee is $150, includes neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com.
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and a solid vet reference.

Additional adoption info

Dog adoption fees are $95 and any Bully breed is $120. Fees include spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations, started on monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick preventative.
Cat adoption fees are $65 and include spay/neuter, deworming, vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
An application is required and will be approved to qualified adopters.

We are a non-profit, 501c3 small group of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of Okemahs animals. We rescue as many as we can from the local shelter and assist the community when rescources are available.
We educate the community and promote the importance of spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
