Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clarence is a sweet boy who needs a new home due to owners having a baby. We love him very much and are so sad to have to see him go. But we have tried extensive training to prepare him for baby and he just is not suitable for a home with a baby.
He was born to an unethical breeder. She kept him crated all the time. He was taken from her and placed in another breeders home. We then adopted him. He was not potty trained and had poor muscle tone and couldn’t stand correctly when we got him. All that has gotten much better and we have worked with a trainer at great expense to train him to stop:
Jumping, pulling in leash, and to have better manners in general. He knows basic commands and is highly food motivated; (sit, wait, come, bed, crate, off, down, leave it).
He would do well in a house with other dogs and an active household that likes to exercise. He has a lot of energy.
Clarence does struggle with hyper-fixation so far mainly just cats and babies/small children.
