My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10 pounds     Female       5 years         $350.00

Hi I am a little 10 pound ball of fur waiting for my perfect family. Here is information from my foster mom:

Lucy was an outdoor ranch dog so some of our “city” customs are new to her. She loves the indoor lifestyle as long as she can go outside, sniff and scout around, and watch the birds. She is very good about using the doggie door. She loves her crate for sleeping and she really likes her cushy dog bed as a “home base.” She likes to go out for walks on leash. She spins around in anticipation for her yummy meals. She loves her treats too which is good for training.

Most of all Lucy is very sweet and extremely gentle. She is not a lap dog yet, but she will hang out on the sofa with you and ask for belly rubs. She won’t let you out of her sight and wants to rest near your feet. When you come home she will run around and spin with excitement. She likes the company of other small and gentle dogs.  She has very soft hair that appears to be nonshedding/hypoallergenic. She wasn’t groomed regularly in the past, so that’s a new experience for her. Of course, Lucy is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Interested adopters should complete the NCPR Adoption Interest Form.  An adoption counselor will contact you if we are a match.  We only adopt our dogs to families in Northern California. Thank you for your interest.
