Hi, I am Maeve and I am one of the kittens left outside overnight at the Johnston County Animal Shelter one Friday night. It was so cold that night! They found us Saturday morning and brought us right inside to warm up. We really needed a bath and the great people at the shelter took care of that. Now I am a beautiful orange kitten. Three days after being found at the shelter I was brought to a foster home along
with a sister and another kitten. We were all pretty scared for a few days but I got over it. Now I run all over my foster mom's house playing with her cats. My foster mom thinks I must have springs in my "shoes". You should see how high I can get off the ground when I capture that little gray mouse. I am a whiz in chasing that round white ball on its track. I might be a little shy at first but I know you will fall in love with me and want to take me home and play with me and any other cats you might already have. I sure would love to have a playmate.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
