My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi guys! My name is Miley and I'm a 1 and a half year old Siberian Husky girl who came into the shelter in February. I'm a very happy girl who does little tippy-taps with my feet when I get excited. Since coming to the shelter my friends have found that I really love toys, treats, and comfy blankets. Because I'm a young husky I still have a lot of energy and would love to find a forever home with someone who can take me on long walks and play with me a lot. If you think you're the right home please call my friends at the shelter to schedule an appointment to meet me! Thank you!

More about this shelter

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.

Please consider giving one of our animals a forever home. If you’re looking to adopt a life-long furry companion, we invite you to visit our Shelter!
