Well hello there, you handsome fella! Give a warm welcome to Austin, an affectionate 4-month old, 22-pound (as of 4/22) Retriever/Hound mix who is fun, friendly, and fully housebroken!
Austin is great with kids, adults, and other dogs. He is playful and enjoys horsing around with his canine pals. Nothing much fazes Austin. He is unusually calm for a pup of his age, and he welcomes new experiences with enthusiasm and excitement.
Smart and treat motivated, Austin is a total foodie who will pay close attentive to you if there is a tasty reward coming his way. He’s already mastered the commands sit and stay and is capable of learning so much more! Austin is being taught proper leash manners and is doing quite well. He knows where and when to do his business, and if he doesn’t have access to the outside, he’ll use a pee pad in an emergency. Good boy, Austin!
Austin is very into being pet and cuddled with. He’s a sweet, soft mush who thrives on human contact. As much as Austin loves to play with people, dogs, and toys, he also loves to chill out and relax. He’s an excellent sleeper and a champion napper. His energy level is very easy to deal with. You set the tone and he will follow your lead. Like the angel he is!
It doesn’t get much better than Austin. He’d make an ideal companion for anyone interested in sharing their life with a youthful happy hound.
