My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Pepper! This sweet girl is born to have fun! She can be a bit timid at first, but she warms up fairly quick. Pepper loves to cuddle either on your lap or as close as she can get to it. She plays well with other small dogs, but don't know about larger ones. Loves exploring the fenced yard and only barks at new people when they enter the house but gets comfortable with them quickly. Loves to run - like on zoom mode! She's also great with young kids and would make a great family pet. We are working on potty training, she knows how to use a doggy door, she is getting used to her kennel and is content with the safe space. She's such a sweet young girl! Here's a cute Facebook reel that shows a little of her personality! https://www.facebook.com/reel/1391375621498407

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee helps us to re-coop expenses for the animals medical expenses and each adopter must compete an application form on our website at www.havendogrescue.org before meeting the pet. We also do a home check prior to signing an adoption contract.

Go meet their pets

All of our pets are in foster care. We are all volunteers and we are happy to arrange meetings for serious adopters. If you are interested in one of our animals, please submit an application form and a member of the rescue will call you to arrange a meetings.

More about this rescue

We want to make an impact on the countless number of animals euthanized each year. We aim to assist our community in rehoming and rehabilitating dogs and cats so they can become part of a new family.
