Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB: Jan 6, 2019
Herman is a social and friendly boy who loves to hang out in close proximity to his family. He loves head scratches and lots of pets on his back and tummy but is not comfortable being picked up or held, as it makes him feel restricted and nervous. He loves to explore, play with toys, and follow his foster parents around to make sure they are safe. He is a vocal boy who enjoys the sound of his own voice every now and then. He has great litterbox habits and is respectful of furniture. He is also very food-motivated.
Herman has an overbite and often leaves his mouth open in cute and silly expressions. Without fail, he always likes to be in the same room as his foster parent and will follow them everywhere they go, making sure they are always in sight. He will even wait patiently at the door of the bathroom while his human is inside.
Herman does not like to be “contained,” i.e. have his movement restricted in any way. This means he does not like to be picked up, held, or have his paws restricted. He is not aggressive but will struggle to free himself. Occasionally he will swat if he feels someone is closing in on him in a menacing way.
Herman is a truly adorable companion who has brought much entertainment and love to our home. While he may not be a lap cat, he is full of love and expresses it every day in his own way. We are sure he will continue to grow in confidence and that he will be an amazing addition to his future home.
