My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sunny is a Sato (street dog) that was found while on vacation in Puerto Rico in October 2023. A rescue organization took her to a farm for 2 months before she was flown to me in New York City in December. Sunny is estimated to be between 1-2 years old. She is playful, smart, energetic, and extremely affectionate!

Sunny has been living in New York City for 3 months. Although she has come so far in so many things, she is miserable in an urban setting. She needs space to walk comfortably outside without constant strangers, bicycles, and dogs passing by in close proximity. Sunny needs a patient owner who is happy to work on her reactivity and provide a quieter environment for safe and happy walks.

Sunny will thrive at a home with land or a yard and space outside to roam in peace. She is exceptionally loved and will be missed dearly! The most ideal situation is one where the previous owner can keep in touch with photos/ videos and possibly even visits if allowed.
