My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Keiko!!

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Keiko - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!

The name Keiko is of Japanese origin meaning 'happy child'. That name sure fits me to a T as I'm such a happy happy girl with always a smile on my face.

I'm about 10 months old and an active gal that is also super affectionate and cuddly. Nothing comes close to getting snuggly with my people! Since I am still just a pup although a fully grown one but a pup none the less, I will need lots of exercise and playtime. I do great with dogs and kids and wouldn't mind at all if I were to get a sibling of either variety to have a blast with in the yard or I'd also be a happy happy gal getting all the attention as your one and only!

I'm a smart lil cookie (I know cuz my foster mom tells me it's so!) and have already mastered a few basic commands such as sit, shake, down and am improving on my leash skills. I love to learn, being as I'm a real people pleaser and can't wait to see what else I can pick up.

My favoritest things are playing ball, going for car rides, trips to the doggie park and taking walks!

I'm at the perfectly pawsome size of 60lbs to tag along on ALL of our action packed adventures!!

I have a velvety soft coat and some amazing colored eyes (they match my coat!!) that you can get lost in! If you add in my affectionate and playful nature I'm got the makings to be a fabulous family addition. I'm just needing YOU to fill out my adoption application!!
