My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha was owned by a homeless man squatting on a property in the city. She and another female dog named Honey, continuously had litters of puppies that grew up feral and terrorized the neighborhood. After a lot of negotiation, we were able to obtain Mocha, Honey, and one of her puppies to help get them off the streets and spayed!

Mocha has the personality of a sweet grandma. She is slow, gentle, quiet, and loves to smile. There is nothing she wants in the world more than a good head rub. She has her own way of "speaking" when she's excited, and letting you know that she loves you. She is a gem in the shelter, and we all adore her!

The adoption fee of $130 covers the cost of parvo/distemper and rabies vaccinations, as well as microchipping, deworming, heartworm testing, and spay/neuter surgery. Call the Jasper Animal Shelter at 409-383-2220 for any further questions. Thank you!
