Gizmo will turn 4 years old next month. He is a very small chihuahua (only about 7 lbs). We got him as a tiny puppy from a relative a couple months into the pandemic. He provided emotional support for my children while we were all isolated. I am now in nursing school and my children are in extracurricular activities, therefore we don’t have time to give “Gizzy” the time, love and affection he deserves . He does his job by letting you know when someone is near your home, and greeting you with lots of love. He will react to other dogs (even big ones). We have a cat he harasses occasionally but is not malicious. It breaks our heart to part with him but I don’t want to deprive him of being with someone /a family who can dedicate more time and attention to him.
