Bluey and her sister Brandy were abandoned by their owners at the Dehart Vet mobile spay and neuter van. Their owners made an appointment to have them spayed, then left a false name and fake contact information. When the vets realized Bluey and Brandy were already spayed, they waited for the owners to show up to their designated pick-up time to inform them. No one ever came, and there was no way to find or contact them.

Bluey and Brandy were picked up and brought to the animal shelter where they were both scared and confused, but then one morning Bluey blossomed into the sweetest girl in the whole world! She loves to be pet so much, she can't help but beg for it. She stands as tall as she can on her stubby little legs to reach you. She is a little more scared of men, but warmed up to our male staff member in about 3 days to a week. She just needs to see where the love comes from, and she'll settle right in!

The adoption fee of $130 covers the cost of parvo/distemper and rabies vaccinations, as well as microchipping, deworming, heartworm testing, and spay/neuter surgery. Call the Jasper Animal Shelter at 409-383-2220 for any further questions. Thank you!
