Jackey is a very special girl looking for a very special home. This 12 year old front declawed black beauty was surrendered when her owner passed away. She's been through a lot and is not sure who to trust and we are doing our best to help her feel safe and loved. Jackey seems to want pets and to be loved. But she can get overstimulated and will need an experienced owner in an adult-only home with plenty of time to get used to her new environment. Jackey is currently residing at PetSmart on Rte 70 in Marlton, NJ. Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.

Go meet their pets

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.
