Meet Heidi, a resilient girl with a heart as big as her challenges. Despite being diagnosed with neurological issues early in life, Heidi embodies courage and unwavering determination. Her journey is a testament to the power of love and perseverance. Heidi’s neurological condition manifests in occasional clumsiness and difficulty with coordination, but her spirit remains undeterred. She gets startled easily, but has a lot of energy and is constantly at your feet. With the support of the Shelter and her dedicated foster family, Heidi is learning all about the luxuries of life. Heidi has been around both large and small dogs and does pretty well. She likes to play, but can get carried away and gets a little rough at times, which can lead to the other dogs being a little unhappy. She can be very food possessive and possessive of her humans. She is not afraid to snap at other dogs or people if she is feeling overwhelmed. Heidi will need to go to a home with dog savvy dogs, and humans who will have the time to dedicate to her. Heidi is around 2-3yrs old and weights 13 lbs. While her journey may have its ups and downs, Heidi’s resilience and unwavering spirit serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who know her. Through it all, she teaches us the invaluable lesson that love conquers all and that every obstacle is an opportunity for growth and compassion. Give us a call if you would like to meet Heidi. She is in a foster, so appointments must be made ahead of time!
