My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Take a Bite Out of Loneliness with T-Bone - A Lovable Mix Breed Looking for His Forever Home!"

Hi there, my name is T-Bone and I'm a handsome male dog, about 1.5 years young. Sadly, I was once a stray, but now I'm looking for a loving home to call my own. I may be a mix breed, but let me tell you, I've got a lot of love to give!

I have a special talent for running and playing. My energy is contagious and I'm always ready for a fun adventure with my human friends. That's why I would be the perfect fit for an active home with a privacy fence. I want to stretch my legs and have some space to play and explore.

When it comes to looks, I've been told I'm quite the charmer. My cuddly and adorable appearance will have anyone melting in no time. But don't be fooled by my cuteness, I'm full of energy and always ready for some fun and games.

I have a charming and affectionate personality, and I'm a social butterfly. I make friends easily and I will be your loyal companion for life. I'm also quite intelligent, so I'll be quick to learn new tricks and commands.

I get along well with other dogs, and I would love to have a furry friend to play with. I can still climb fences, so a privacy fence would be ideal for me until I learn to stay put.

I can't wait to meet my future best friend and shower them with love and happiness. If you're looking for an active, fun-loving and loyal companion, I'm your guy! Let's meet and see if we're the perfect match. Hurry, I'm ready to be your best friend!

More about this rescue

A.C.A. is a network of foster homes, an entity formed to help animals from Evansville Vanderburgh Animal Care and Control. Most of the animals in our foster care program have all come directly from EVACC.

We choose to pull from EVACC because of the thousands of great animals that come through the shelter each year. Thousands of cats and dogs (and some chickens, horses, and small furries) are relinquished to the shelter each year. Some are given up by owners, victims of hard times, or new living circumstances. A larger portion have come in as strays, found on the streets of Evansville, held for 7 days at the shelter for an owner to reclaim them, and then given a very short period of time in which to find an adoptive home before the kennel is needed again for the next animal that comes in.
