My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Toast! Toast was found all alone in Round Lake Beach before he came to Orphans. Although we don't know his history, we do know that he is a friendly and silly kitty who just wants to be loved on by people! He will roll around to get your attention and enjoys receiving all the head scratches and pets he can get. He's a big guy at 13 pounds, and he will make the perfect snuggle buddy for his future family to cuddle up with and love!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
