My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chowder is the SWEETEST little boy.  He flops over in front of you to be petted....he cannot get enough love!  He is absolutely darling.  He is doing great with the other foster cats and has a LOT of love to give.  The foster mom may have a hard time giving him up!

He came from Estill County Shelter where they have a hard time adopting out cats. We were happy to make room for some.

Born likely end of August of 2023, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and negative for fiv/felv.  Adoption fee $75 or 2 for $125.

More about this rescue

Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.

Meet the cats every Saturday at our adoption events (details listed below), and you can see the cats on Petfinders and 1800save-a-pet in the hopes of finding good homes for them.
