My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Mitzi! I'm a scruffy terrier mix with the cutest ears ever! I'm pretty certain I can pick up every radio station within miles! I just finished being a momma to a litter of pups and now I'm ready to be someone's baby myself. I'm a friendly girl who enjoys attention from the staff and volunteers. It appears I know how to sit and I'm currently working on my leash manners. I am an active girl and I'd love to find a family who will take me on walks or play with me in their backyard. It's possible I could get along with a male dog that has a similar play style. At this time it's not known how I do with cats or children. Apply for me at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
