My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mae is a 2-3 yr old Bully/Pug/Beagle mix.  She is just over 60 lbs.  Mae is good with most male dogs but can be selective with female dogs.  She is social, fun, loves toys, and going for walks.

Mae arrived as a stray so we do not have any previous history for her.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and has been wormed.

Anyone interested in adoption must stop in to meet her and complete an application.

More about this shelter

We are a county funded shelter. Our operating budget is very limited. We are open to take in strays and owner turn-ins. We only have 29 kennels and our focus is to promote and adopt out the dogs we take in. We try to learn basic information on the dogs, if they know basic commands, are spayed or neutered, good with other dogs, etc. We do have helpful volunteers that will take a dog home to see how they are in a home situation. As with most shelters we do not know everything about each dog. Our fees to adopt are low. We CANNOT guarantee the health of any animal.
