My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Paco. Guess what? I’m the doggy of the month!! I’m a happy, well-behaved boy if I do say so myself. They say I’m a 2-year-old or so brindle pit bull mix but I’m definitely not in my “terrible twos!” I love other dogs and kids but I’ve not spent a lot of time with the cats so I don’t really know if I like them or not. Older kids might like me better than little ones. I do like to jump but wouldn’t you if you were cooped up in a kennel all day? Maybe we can work on that together (I hope.)
Yesterday, I got a chance to hang out with Brittney and she took me for a walk. I never left her side even though I forgot my leash. I want to find my forever home and I know that won’t happen if I run away from her. Before our walk was over though, I just couldn’t help myself. I did the drop and roll through the mud, then proceeded to jump all over Brittney! I’m glad she wasn’t mad at me. She’s a good sport but I was definitely worried!
I’ve been stuck in the shelter for over 4 months now. My owner never came to claim me so I have to find a new owner. I just want a home! Please come take me for a ride to get a cheeseburger. Or maybe take me home for a few days. I promise to be better for you! Maybe you’ll love me enough to keep me forever.
Paco’s adoption fee is $50. He is already fixed and fully vetted. He just needs your willingness to love him. Come see him after 11 am today. He’s truly a special boy!
