My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Belle!

Belle is a beautiful Chihuahua mix who is approximately 1-1/2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. She came to us by way of a private rescuer in south Texas near the border of Mexico after being found abandoned by a dumpster with her little puppies. Thankfully she went to a wonderful foster home where she was an excellent mom to her babies and now this family is ready to find loving, forever homes of their own.

Belle is a sweet and gentle dog who loves everyone she meets! She greets everyone with a wagging tail and will flop on her back and promptly ask for some belly rubs. She is happy, playful and wants nothing more than to be loved on by her people. She gets along well with the other dogs in her playgroup here at the rescue and has a great time romping around with them, playing with toys. Belle is crate trained for her meals and for sleeping, but if you asked her, she would be most happy curled right up by your side at night. We can really see her doing well in just about any family environment and can’t wait for this gal to find the home she deserves!

Belle is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Columbus, Ohio on April 13th, 2024. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.
