My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

They say nice things come in small packages. Well, they sure got it right with Lottie! Naturally shy, Lottie may need just a quick minute to decide if it is safe to approach you at first meets. With a little bit of encouragement (treats and a gentle voice), Lottie moves right into your space, seeking affection and love. From that moment on, she isn’t shy about getting to know you anymore. Space awareness becomes nonexistent. She quickly finds a spot in your lap. And sits there. Lottie says you can work around 40lb of snuggle in your lap! She is so very sweet. She loves your attention. She lovingly returns the favor. She loves to make her humans happy <3 Sometimes when she gets too excited with all the fuss over her, she can get a little nippy 😊 While Lottie is friendly with dogs, she prefers the company of pups that prefer to chill and coexist. She isn't much into running, tugging or wrestling. If Lottie sees you playing with other dogs, she gets upset if she cannot join in the fun. If her doggie companion is chill and quiet, she too chills and is quiet but if the companion gets riled up about something, she too, will do the same. She is a pretty good cheerleader😊 Lottie loves food and treats. She seems to prefer soft treats to hard treats. She takes her treats nicely 😊 She isn't much into toys.

Lottie is about 2 years old, 40lb Pug Bulldog mix. She is looking for a home that can give her all the snuggles and attention. She is a talented sidekick and would love to fulfill that role. Lottie is crate trained and housebroken. She walks well on a leash, although she will pull if she needs to use the bathroom badly and fast! A home with older children and laid-back dogs is preferred.
