Case #. Star was born 4/6/23.

Star and her brother Chandler were adopted together from the shelter when they were tiny puppies. Now they are older, bigger and were returned for having too much energy. This is no exaggeration, if you're looking for an exercise partner then either of them would be a great addition to your family! They both LOVE people and aim to please! They like to play with toys and Star is a great retriever! Neither of them are big, they are nice medium sized dogs. With some proper exercise and training they will make AMAZING companions who will love you for life! Come visit this bright Star today, she's waiting!

FROM I-10:
Exit 263. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Slidell/LA-433 W. (220ft.)
Turn right at LA-433 N./Old Spanish Trail (0.8 mile).
Turn right at Terrace Ave. (0.6 mile).

FROM HWY 11 (Pontchartrain Dr.) + Old Spanish Trail:
Head east on Old Spanish Trail toward LA-433 (0.8 mile).
Turn left at Terrace Ave. (0.6 mile).

The Mission of the Slidell Animal Assistance League, a volunteer non-profit organization, was founded to support the City of Slidell Animal Control Shelter and Citizens by:

Providing all food, medicine, medical care and comfort items for the sheltered animals.

Socialization of animals to prepare them for adoption through handling, exercise and play.

Conduct pet adoptions or placement of animals in service organizations which aid the handicap or law enforcement agencies.

Educate the public on being responsible pet owners to have their animals spay/neutered as well as yearly medical health checks and vaccinations through a Veterinarian Clinic.
