My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Earl Grey is quite the distinguished gentleman. This lovable floof has a BIG personality to match his very big, feather boa-like tail that happily follows him wherever he goes, high in the air with confidence. Earl, as his friends call him, usually has a lot to say and is one chatty Cathy. If you ask him a question, he will surely answer you back and come running over to you ready to go wherever you're going. Earl turned up on the front porch of the President of Tails High - he really knew where to find help! With a lot of patience and love, Earl went from a timid, lost kitty, to a sweetheart that enjoys pets, lots of playtime with his favorite cat dancer toy and the occasional dance around the house in his foster mom's arms. While we think Earl Grey is 100% an amazing kitty that is going to make a lucky home very happy, we would be remiss if we didn't mention that Earl can occasionally get overstimulated and sensing his body language will be necessary for his future family. Earl is a strong boy and when he's feeling playful, he has been known to grab hold of his human's arms, hands or legs to get their attention. He also might give a love nibble which is a behavior we have worked hard on correcting. He never tries to hurt humans and is not aggressive in the slightest - this behavior is playful. We think Earl Grey would do best with a family that is cat experienced and is fully aware he may need some patience to settle in and feel like himself. Earl Grey hasn't been reactive to other cats in his foster home but also hasn't bonded with anyone so he would likely be fine with or without other cats in his new home. In his current foster home, Earl took a couple of weeks to come out of hiding and show his true personality so potential adopters should be prepared to give him time to settle in and feel comfortable.
