My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy is a 6-year-old female Dogo Argentino rescued at 10 months old from Santa Cruz Animal Shelter. She has been raised around small children the majority of her life. She likes walks and hikes, tolerates jogs/runs, and will play catch. She is house trained and very well-behaved. She responds to the following commands: bed, sit, paw (both, for shakes), potty, eat (she waits until instructed to approach her bowl). She does well on a leash with both a collar and a harness, and is fine with a muzzle. She loves to have her hips, belly, and ears scratched and loves to cuddle—she’s a big lover. She’s happy to spend the majority of the time lounging around, but loves walks and activity. She is not a barker, but does have a loud, protective bark that she uses rarely only in appropriate situations.
