My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post. Please text or call 770-561-8899 for information or to meet/adopt Riley.

Riley is a striking black and white American Bulldog/Mix. This beautiful girl is around 2yr old, and weighs 50lbs. She's crate trained (up to 9hr) and is house trained. She has a medium energy level and enjoys snoozing just as much as she loves doing zoomies around her fenced yard! Riley is best described as shy, silly and sweet. She can take a few minutes to warm up, but then once she's comfortable around you she lets her fun personality shine! She does well with other dogs and would love a forever home with a friendly and confident dog to show her the ropes.

Riley would love a forever home with a fenced yard (6ft), with older kids (10+), and a family who will provide her the recourses to continue gaining confidence.  Riley was at an overcrowded GA shelter where she was very shut down. This special girl deserves a wonderful home where she will be well loved! Riley is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up to date on her vaccines.

To Do All We Can to Aid in the Rescue, Safety and Welfare of Stray and Abandoned Animals to end as much suffering as possible.

We realize we cannot save the world … but we can try by working with each rescued animal on an individual basis.

Go meet their pets

Because we are not a shelter, do not have a boarding facility, and are not connected with any other agency, we always welcome foster homes where animals can stay temporarily. We also welcome all tax-deductible donations from individuals or foundations.
No donation is too small.

More about this rescue

A Welcome Home Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to help the homeless, hurt and/or abandoned animals.
