Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello everyone, My name is Rafferty and my sister's name is Niamh. Rafferty in Irish means "Prosperity, floodtide, abundance" for I will give you this in love, laughs, and happiness. We are Wheaten Terriers. We were rescued from a backyard breeder who is slowly giving up breeding. My foster family lives out in the country and has an old fashioned egg man. The egg man knows the people we came from. We are nervous when we first meet you because we had little to no human contact before we came into foster care.
We love being here with our foster family because there are lots of other orphans to play with. This includes dogs/ puppies, kittens of all ages, horses, and even chickens! So far, I know how to come when called, sort of walk on a leash, the word No, down. I have gained confidence. I just want to please you. I am incredibly sweet. I would do best with a companion for all I have ever known is my sister.
I am a purebred with papers. The family who runs the rescue said if she did not have a pack of their own, they would be tempted to keep me or us. I am ready to be adopted and head home.
