My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carson is a very sweet and loving six year old dog. The humane center said he is an English Coonhound Mix, but he seems like more of a Labrador to me. He LOVES snuggles and being pet. He is calm in demeanor and very sweet. He is protective of his food and snacks and doesn't like to be pet while eating (I don't like to be pet while I'm eating either, LOL) But I feel he can be trained to be less protective, I just have no time. He unfortunately is in a kennel from 5:45 am to sometimes 7:00p
He does have dry skin, and needs to use a special shampoo. He also takes allergy medicine when skin flares.

I am a single mom, and my son is 13 and now involved in many after school sports and activities. I feel sad that Carson is left alone all day. We also do not have a yard for him to be able to enjoy. I pray that there is a loving family that will welcome Carson into their home and lives ;as you will not regret it. We love him very much, but we want him to have a better quality of life.
