My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment? This is one of a litter of 6 babies that was found thrown into a dumpster at around 5 weeks of age.  Luckily, someone discovered them and then they came to us.  They've been healthy, happy, social babies.  We have zero history.  They have a couple of different looks & fur lengths so we are not sure what breeds they are but most certainly Heinz 57 mixed breeds.  All have curled tails and 2 have medium fur so we picked the spitz group as their possible breed mix.  Our best adult size guess is between 25-35 pounds.  Puppies that are not old enough to have received all 3 puppy DHPP vaccines will not be adopted to anyone in apartment or condo residents as they are not protected against parvo or distemper until they've received all 3 vaccines. Our puppies are or will be neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated age appropriate (they will need additional vaccines), de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH as a foster puppy.   a couple of his siblings adopter have done DNA tests. this litter is 25% chihuahua and 75% super mutt with many other breeds making up less than 10% each! True 100% heinz 57 cuties! Vaccine Protocol is as follows: DHPP series of 3 are needed and puppies are not protected against parvo or distemper until they're received ALL 3 vaccines. Rabies 6 months of age

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
