Meet Timber! Timber is about 2 years old, 80 lbs, high energy, and he is a Husky! In his foster home, he is working hard on with his house-training, crate- training and leash-walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. He will need a cat-free home, as well as one with a fenced-in yard.
He was heartworm positive but has completed treatment and is now ready for adoption!
His foster says, "This gentle giant is really a show stopper! Be prepared for strangers to stop you on the street to comment on his impressive good looks! He has had a pretty rough start to life, but despite it all is still a loving, playful, gentle companion for the right family. His main motivation is food. He has been to a highly ranked dog trainer for evaluation and some basic skills training and learned extremely quickly. He loves to play fetch and tug. Car rides and long walks are some of his favorite things. He has been great with every dog he has been around with the proper introductions of course. I am not kidding when I say this is a very special dog. His potential is unlimited!"
He is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
