My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a furry friend who's a little bit of spice and everything nice? Look no further than Soda Bread, the charming Hound mix with a personality as unique as her name. She's gentle and reserved in new environments, taking her time to warm up before revealing her playful spirit. Once she feels comfortable, though, get ready for a whirlwind of fun! Her playful antics and boundless energy will keep you entertained for hours on end. In playgroups, Soda Bread initially observes from the sidelines, assessing the situation with a cautious eye. But once she feels at ease, she dives headfirst into the action, showing off her playful and spunky side with gusto. With a little guidance and patience, she's already making great strides in mastering proper manners. Leash skills may be a work in progress for Soda Bread, but she's eager to learn and improve. So, if you're searching for a furry companion whose equal parts spirited and sweet, look no further than Soda Bread.

Where Our Dogs Come From

Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is a temporary home for dogs that are found on the streets by the county dog wardens. Dogs are held for 72 hours in order for the owner to claim them. After the holding period, unclaimed dogs may be available for adoption.
