My name is Simon. I had a very bad time starting before my foster arrived. Someone left me and my siblings overnight on the steps of the Johnston County Shelter. It was so cold. We were found Saturday morning and brought inside. We all had a bath and looked SO MUCH BETTER. Three days later we were brought to my foster's house. Boy was that something! At first, we acted as if we were shell-shocked. Gradually we became used to it there. After two days, I decided that was a good place to be; warm bed, good food, and a nice lady. We were all turned loose in the house and what a blast! I had plenty of room to run around in and got to play with my foster mom's cats. I am now the best kitten you will have ever known. I like to follow my foster mom around and I love, love, love to be in her lap.I have a wonderful purr. I know no strangers, so other humans, won't you please come meet me at the PetSmart at White Oak in Garner? I am sure you will want to give me my furrever home.

There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
