My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sohee, 3 years old, jindo mix, female, 18kg
Meet our adorable little rescue pup from South Korea! This sweet girl narrowly escaped the "euthanasia list" at a shelter and found her way into our hearts.
At first, she might seem a bit shy, but with just a few minutes and some tasty treats, she'll melt right into your arms for cuddles and pets. She's a real sucker for belly rubs, too – once she trusts you, she'll even roll over to show off her cute belly!
Loud noises and sudden movements from children might startle her, but with a patient approach, she'll warm up in no time. She's not a big fan of being carried around, but if she feels secure, she might just surprise you with some snuggles.
When it comes to other furry friends, she's a true diplomat. She'll greet them gently and is up for some polite sniffing, but she's not one for rough play. She prefers pals who match her moderate energy level and isn't afraid to stand her ground if another dog gets too aggressive.
Outdoors, she's all about adventure – she loves exploring and enjoying nature. Indoors, she's as calm as can be, making her the perfect companion for any setting. While she's still mastering leash manners, she's a quick learner and is eager to please.
Car rides? No problem! She's a pro at settling into her crate and knows just how to hop in and out of the car like a seasoned traveler. Plus, she's got outdoor potty time down to a science!
With a bit of patience and ongoing socialization, she's blossoming into the perfect furry family member. If you're ready to shower her with love and continue her training journey, she'll reward you with endless tail wags and unconditional love.

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
