My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harold is a handsome devil. We estimate his birthday to be 11/01/2021, and he is a stunning red shepherd/pit mix. He is full of life and excitement and wants nothing more than to have a new best friend and a place to call home! He's a big guy, weighing in just under 70lbs, but he has a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. He is still working on his obedience every day, such as not jumping when he's excited, and not pull on a leash, but with his huge urge to please we know a steady hand and some repetition we know he could be trained well in a snap. Harold is one of the friendliest dogs in our care, if he lays eyes on you be prepared to have a new best friend. He also does fantastic with other dogs, though as always we require a meet and greet if you already have one. He loves children too, but sometimes isn't aware of how big he is, something to keep in mind if you have little ones. He is just as excited to see cats as he is dogs, so if your cat can stand his goofy personality he would be great with them too. Harold is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. *Not available for adoption in Massachusetts
