My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read the pet description IN IT'S ENTIRETY before applying.  Thank you for your cooperation.

STRAY NEW INTAKE 3/13/2024
STRAY HOLD THRU END OF DAY 3/18/2024

We named them Rosco and Bosco.  This is Rosco.  These dogs showed up at a home on Hwy 157 close to Hwy 528.  Rosco appears to have a bum leg.  We posted them both on social media while they were still at the home... but no one came forward so we took them in.

Neither are microchipped or altered.  We have notified Bossier City Animal Control that we have them they have both been registered in their system.  If no one comes forward by END OF DAY on 3/18/2024, they will head to the vet for vetting.  Rosco is heavily matted but we can't really do anything because he's in pain with the back left leg.  We will need to figure out what's going on there and then try to get a handle on his coat.

Rosco appears to be a Schnauzer/Poodle mix of some sort; 18.2 pounds and about 3 years old.  Bosco is a Schnauzer mix, 16.4 pounds and about 3 years old as well.

You must show proof this is your dog via pictures... vet records, etc. We don't go off of "see if the dog will answer to xxxx". We don't go off of someone just saying the dog is their dog. You must have PROOF!

We do NOT take applications for dogs on stray hold. You will need to wait until the dog is officially posted for adoption provided no owner comes forward before stray hold is up BY END OF DAY 3/18/2024.

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”  ~ Gandhi

Be responsible ~  Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life.  Blessings.
