Meet Sandy!

She came to rescue in December 2022 after being nursed back to health in Mexico! She waited in rescue for 7 long months till she was adopted. December 2023 she was found as a stray and the adopters said they did not want her back. She's been with us again since then!

This is an outstanding dog! It is truly WILD to me that she was returned, has had little interest & has now been waiting for so long! She is dog friendly and all people friendly. She is 3 years old & very energetic! She needs an active home and family that will take her on walks at a minimum. Of course she adores walks but She also LOVES hiking!! If you're someone looking for a hiking buddy - this might be your gal! (Of course, only when weather permits!)

Sandy LOVES toys and playing with other dogs. Kitties are unknown. She is kennel trained and working on other basic obedience in her foster home!

Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped. Please let us know if you're interested in this gem of a dog!

The Pet Knot was forged to combine efforts of like-minded rescues and volunteers humbly striving to make a dent in the urgent pet over-population crisis. Our talents and strategies promote animal adoptions through online, in-store, and boutique-like options for adopters. All animals receive the highest level of medical care and grooming. Animals also receive appropriate adjustment time and basic social skills in foster homes in preparation for a new home environment. We help all animals including seniors, special needs, and those seemingly unadoptable cases and work diligently to place each in the most appropriate permanent home possible no matter how long it takes. We call ourselves The Pet Knot because not only do we connect people with pets, we keep people with pets.
