My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome hunk of a big boy is called Loverboy Louie.  He is a 4-5 year old,  85 pound Hound mix that is loving and fun and definitely thinks he is a Lap Dog.   This boy wants a peaceful home where he is not picked on my young teenage humans who think he can stand harassment.  Sometimes older children take their frustrations out on animals and that has happened with Louie.  He needs a new home where he does not have to tolerate such bad behavior from young people.  Loverboy Louie is housebroken, loves the water, doesn’t need to be crated because he is SOOOOO good on his own and he is pretty good on a leash and car rides.  He is great with other dogs but hasn’t lived with a cat in the last few years.   If you love big dogs with big love to give from their big heart then please hurry and write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Louie needs some peace in his life.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
