My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Esmerelda is a two year old Korat with a spicy personality and a keen sense of what she wants out of life! Abandoned outside by her original owners, Esme would not leave their stoop for a weeks, determined to make her way back inside. Kind neighbors fed her and tried to rehome her, which is how she eventually ended up in our care. Now that we've observed her for a few months, this stubborn behavior is not shocking. Esmerelda cherishes routine! Esme is looking for a home with some soft beds and blankets, plenty of food and water, a few particular toys, and a human she can sit next to on the couch in the evening for some head scratches. She may enjoy the company of another cat- she's entertained by other cat's antics even if she doesn't play along. Best of all, Esmerelda has a signature raspy meow that reads like an angry old shrew, even when she's perfectly happy! We would love for this funny girl to get a real chance at a forever home-- could that be yours?
