Bluey Blue is a handsome 15-week old boxer mix with unique features and an outgoing, friendly personality that truly makes him extra special. This healthy boy has the most precious set of matching sock feet and a left eye the same color as a vivid blue sky on a summer's day. His sturdy frame may be a bit more compact than a typical boxer but he's every bit as playful and upbeat as any dog lover could hope to find. He adores all humans and dogs big and small, and his temperament is perfectly suited for a home with children. With so much love to give, he does have a high need for companionship and will definitely require another dog in the home along with an attentive owner who will be patient and help build his confidence. His foster mommy says he's very bright and is nearly potty trained and that with just a bit more work and consistency, he will be accident free in no time. Although Bluey Blue is still a young pup, he has already decided what he likes best: playtime, snuggles, kisses and lots of attention. As a social guy, he forms attachments and doesn't like to be left alone in his crate. Right now, he barks and vocalizes when crated but will stop when corrected. This will of course improve with more training and positive reinforcement as he matures, but in the meantime, he is not an ideal dog for apartment or condo living.
At the end of each day, after he's exhausted his puppy energy, Bluey Blue looks most forward to bedtime, preferably in close proximity to a fur companion and his humans, where he can shut his eyes feeling secure and loved.
