My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Brina. I am around 2yrs old and I am a shy cat at first. I like to be
around other cats but need to know I am secure first and that they won’t pick on me. I am building my confidence in my foster home. I come out now to eat with everyone but if someone gets too close to my dish I run away and my foster mom brings my dish to my preferred spot, she has me try for each meal, knowing that eventually I will gain my courage. I love to be brushed, just don’t pick me up right away. I am slow to warm up but when I do, I am a love bug. Just come hang out with me or at times I will jump on the couch with you to watch tv. I am great with using the litter pan. I love the anxiety bed that my foster mom has and would love if you got me one, it helps me feel secure and love to lay in it and look out the window at the birds and take a sun bath. I would do my best in a home with just adults and one or two other cats that won’t pick on me but just hang out with me. I really would like some friends but would do well as an only cat as well.

All cats have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. If you are interested in meeting Brina, please go to our website and fill out a cat application.
