Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi, I’m Harley, and let me tell you—I’ve come a long way.
When I first arrived at the shelter, I was feral. No one could touch me, and I had no idea what a leash was for (except maybe to run away from). But now? I’ve learned that humans aren’t so scary after all. I let people pet me, leash me, and even tell me I’m a good boy—and I like it.
I’ve been onsite for over a year, and thanks to everyone`s patience, I’ve really opened up. I’m fully housetrained and crate trained (I love my crate—it’s like my own little den). I walk great on a leash and get super excited when it’s time to go outside.
I love to play with dogs who are my size or bigger—they really get me. Small dogs? Not my vibe. I tend to lunge at them, so a home without tiny pups is best for everyone. I haven’t been around kids or small animals like squirrels or birds, so I’m not sure how I’d do.
I can be a little shy when I meet new people—especially men—but give me time and a gentle approach, and I warm up. Once I trust you, I’ll be your quiet shadow, happy to keep you company and share your space. I’m not clingy, but I do like to be near the people I care about.
Oh, and toys? I love them—especially if I can de-stuff them. It’s my version of therapy.
I already know a few commands like sit, stay, here, and wait. I may have started out scared of the world, but I’m brave now—and I’m ready to find someone who sees how special I really am.
Are you that someone?
