We are excited to announce that Penelope is finally available for adoption! Penelope is a darling bully mix that was transferred to us from a high-intake shelter in Philly, where she was picked up as a stray. When she arrived, she was very pregnant. Penelope since gave birth to 10 healthy puppies and has done a brilliant job raising them! But now she’s ready to move on to focus on enjoying a new future of her own. Penelope is about 3 years old and weighs around 40 lbs. She is a delight to be around! She is affectionate and well mannered—an all-around great dog. We aren’t sure yet how she is with other dogs, but she’d be good in a home with children as well as cats.
