My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Tsunami and I am ready to make big waves in the world!
Right now I am currently living with a very kind foster parent who is teaching me a lot of things and how to get along with other dogs. I was not so much of a fan of the other pups when I first came to the shelter. Can you blame me? Sometimes they are crazy and hyper! But I am doing phenomenal in this foster home and get along well with all the dogs there now!
I am a sweet guy who loves all the people I meet, I am very outgoing! I do have quite a bit of energy and would love a home with a yard or someone who can get me outside for my daily exercise. I would love to play fetch with you!
As stated above, I might be fine around another dog in the home but would need to meet them first before going home.
If you are interested in meeting me please call or come talk to staff to schedule a time for the foster parent to bring me in :)

We have a quick adoption application, then a contract we ask to be filled out. From there, you and your new best friend are ready to go home!

Please stop into Central Nebraska Humane Society at 1312 Sky Park Rd in Grand Island. Weekday hours are 10-6. Saturday hours are 10-5 and Sundays we are open 1-5.
