My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is the sweetest little boy once you get to know him. He will be 7 years old in October of 2024. He has been neutered and microchipped. He has no known health problems but is a little chunky. He was acquired 7 years ago when he was rescued from a neglectful owner. He has lived with 6 other dogs and 2 cats before but can be food-aggressive, so he would need to be fed in a crate if around other animals. He is the sweetest, cuddliest, lazy, lovable boy after he is comfortable with you. He absolutely loves playing fetch with tennis balls and getting treats from puppy enrichment toys.

The main issue that Buddy has is behavioral issues. He has severe stranger and separation anxiety. He will bark at new people or dogs and will bark and cry if left alone without any other dogs. He would greatly benefit from a home where someone can train him and give him the attention he needs. We do not have the resources to provide for these specific needs.
